Spanish speaking volunteers are also needed for the New Americans Census project  to canvass in Humboldt Park and West Town, two communities that had over a 50% non-response rate in the 2000 Census. As a volunteer you will be a community leader, informing households about the census and encouraging them to fill out their forms this March.

No prior canvassing experience required. Opportunities are available every day of the week, including weekends. All interested volunteers please contact Census Outreach Coordinator Omar Ramirez at 209-639-3159 or oramirez@eriehouse.org
