Erie Neighborhood House

COVID-19 Response

*Updated August 3*

Dear Erie House Community,

Erie House continues to prioritize the health and safety of our staff and participants. With this priority in mind, we're excited to share our plan to safely reopen for in-person programming after being closed since March 17.

Our School Age program reopened on August 3 and our Early Childhood Education (Childcare) program will reopen August 31, both at limited capacity. Our staff will be in direct contact with our participants in these programs with more information. Reopening dates for all other programs are still being determined. You can learn more about our five-phased approach at

We will continue to offer virtual programming until each program has returned for in-person services and will continue to provide updates.

As always, the health and well-being of our community is our highest priority. We're doing everything we can to ensure our reopening is safe for all of our staff, our participants, and our community as a whole. We will continue to make decisions about our operations and activities with safety in mind and provide updates as they become available.

Our families count on us, especially in times like these, and we know our closing impacts an already vulnerable population. That's why we're working to provide all our participants with access to resources and relief.

In March, we launched our Community Relief Fund to help directly support our participants and help cover critical, immediate needs like rent, utilities, groceries, and more. If you'd like to learn more and give, please visit 100% of donations to this fund go directly to our participants and clients.
