Introducing Erie House’s In-Kind Giving Program
November 3, 2016 | Chicago, IL
There are plenty of ways to support the mission of Erie Neighborhood House. Recently, we formalized an in-kind giving program to simplify the process of making a tax-deductible non-monetary donation to Erie House.
We have built an in-kind giving page categorizing specific items needed by our programs with a form designed to facilitate the donation process. For instance, you can view a list of classroom and office supplies, electronic devices, toys and other desired items and fill out the form to get in contact with our development team to coordinate the donation.
We have also set up multiple Amazon Wish Lists for our programs so donors can select specific items to send directly to Erie House. This can be teamed up with Amazon Smile so a portion of each purchase is donated back to us. This works just like shopping on regular Amazon, but you must log into your account through www.smile.amazon.com and select Erie Neighborhood House as your supported organization.
Making an in-kind donation is a great way to see how your contribution directly supports our programs. Like a monetary donation, in-kind giving is tax-deductible and acknowledged formally. Please visit our in-kind giving page and consider donating today.
