Operation Warm Provides Participants with New Coats
December 15, 2015 | Chicago, IL
Just in time for another Chicago winter, Operation Warm has made a donation of brand new coats to Erie Neighborhood House.
This past month, the Early Childhood Education, Expanded Learning and Adult Education programs at Erie House received and distributed coats to their participants, who were happy to have them for the upcoming colder months. Not only do new winter coats give participants warmth but they also aid academic learning, self-esteem, health and overall peace of mind.
Through the financial support of the Chicago Community Trust and an anonymous family foundation, Operation Warm was able to offer over 10,000 winter coats this year to Chicago area organizations supporting families in need.
Erie House would like to thank Operation Warm for their donation and commemorate them for the important work they do in the community.
