Erie Neighborhood House, a progressive social service agency serving the Chicago metropolitan area and dedicated to promoting a just and inclusive society, is seeking a Housing Outreach Intern to provide direct support and assistance to Buen HOGAR: Housing Outreach and Education Program in Erie’s Little Village location. The basic functions of this position are to provide support with outreach in targeted community areas and promote CHA affordable housing options and housing resources and services in the Latino community.
* The purpose of Section 3 is to make HUD-financed employment and economic opportunities available to low-income residents, particularly those who live in public housing or participate in a voucher program. CHA’s Section 3 policy also lends support to businesses that provide economic opportunities to low-income residents.
