School-Age Program

Academics

In our School-Age Program, your child will find an environment that blends the best of both school and home, a comfy-cozy space equipped with the tools and support they need to continue learning outside of the classroom.

Our team of caring, professional School-Age educators provide help with homework and work with you and your child to identify areas for improvement and establish goals for academic success. In addition, we tap into our volunteer network to provide one-on-one literacy support, helping your kid become a stronger reader while at Erie House.

Your child will also be able to choose from a variety of clubs that offer the opportunity to grow by exploring topics that appeal specifically to their interests. So whether their club is focused on science, reading or cooking, they will continue learning long after the school day is over.

And during our summer schedule and on school holidays, your child will be able to explore museums and other cultural sites around the city during our interactive field trips. Plus, we have brought additional learning to Erie House through workshops with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, Joffrey Ballet and other community partners.
