152 Years of Erie Neighborhood House

Erie Neighborhood House is proud to share the significant strides we have made in our ongoing commitment to serve Chicago's immigrant and low-income communities. Throughout the year, we have continued to make bold and innovative strides in our work, and we are thrilled to celebrate the many successes we have achieved.

Erie House is proud to be a vital, innovative, and an engaged presence in the West Town, Near West, Humboldt Park, and Little Village communities of Chicago. We are honored to announce that we have officially welcomed close to 1,500 program participants into our home through direct service and supported over 20,000 individuals through general outreach, a testament to the enduring relevance of our mission.

Our Impact

We've provided assistance to over 10,000 Legal Permanent Residents applying for naturalization.

We've reached over 12,000 people with "Know Your Rights" trainings.

In our Proyecto Cuídate program, we provide nearly 500 counseling sessions per year to survivors of domestic violence.

100% of seniors in our youth programs graduate from high school and 98% go on to college.

Each year, more than 500 adults and 200 children participate in our nutrition education workshops.

Almost 90% of our ESL students advance on the CASAS literacy exam, moving them closer to eligibiliity to enroll in college courses.
