*Updated April 13, 2021*
Dear Erie House Community,
Erie House continues to prioritize the health and safety of our staff and participants.
In August 2020, we reopened two of our West Town programs for in-person programming after being closed since March 17, 2020. And in April 2021, we re-opened our Little Village site for hybrid programming. All other programming remains remote.
Our School Age program reopened on August 3, 2020 and our Early Childhood Education (Childcare) reopened on August 31, both at limited capacity. On April 12, 2021, Little Village welcomed back participants for READS, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Proyecto Cuídate Youth programming in a hybrid capacity. Reopening dates for all other programs are still being determined. You can learn more about our five-phased approach at eriehouse.org/reopen.
We will continue to offer virtual programming until each program has returned for in-person services and will continue to provide updates.
As always, the health and well-being of our community is our highest priority. We're doing everything we can to ensure our reopening is safe for all of our staff, our participants, and our community as a whole. We will continue to make decisions about our operations and activities with safety in mind and provide updates as they become available.
Our families count on us, especially in times like these, and we know our closing impacts an already vulnerable population. That's why we're working to provide all our participants with access to resources and relief.
In March 2020, we launched our Community Relief Fund to help directly support our participants and help cover critical, immediate needs like rent, utilities, groceries, and more. This fund continues to accept donations to provide relief for our families.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
