At the heart of Erie Neighborhood House are people and families; it is because of them that the organization has withstood the test of time. The Erie House mission is to promote a just and inclusive society by strengthening low-income, immigrant families. To achieve this, Erie House focuses on five main programmatic areas that meet the holistic needs of the community:
- Adult Education and Training
- Children and Youth
- Community Resources and Empowerment
- Legal Services
- Mental Health and Community Wellness
Erie Neighborhood House is deeply committed to the Little Village community and first began programming in the neighborhood in 2004. Currently, Erie House serves hundreds of Little Village families annually.
