Our English as a Second Language (ESL) and Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes will support you with the skills you need to reach your potential and thrive in the classroom, in the workplace and in the community.

English as a Second Language

Our ESL classes are free and offered fall, winter and spring. Learn in a supportive classroom environment with qualified teachers and a strong curriculum as you gain confidence in your ability to speak, read and write in English.

Adult Basic Education

Adult Basic Education classes build on the foundation laid in our ESL program. Available for free and offered fall, winter and spring, classes focus on reading, writing and math skills to prepare you for a GED program and continued education.

Citizenship Classes

Our free 12-week citizenship course can prepare you for the naturalization exam and interview. Come learn alongside others on the path toward citizenship and gain the knowledge in US history and civics as well as reading and writing skills you need to succeed.

Classes are currently offered in both English and Spanish on a quarterly basis.

Volunteer

Build connections in the community and help others develop language and literacy skills by participating in a conversation group with students in our ESL or ABE classes.

If you are looking for 1-on-1 or small group tutoring/teaching volunteer opportunities, please check out our Community Literacy program.

Group Opportunity

Sign your team up to participate in a conversation group with our students, using interactive questions and prompts to build connections and develop language skills in the process.
