Future of Promise | Futuro de Promesa
Every spring, Erie House gathers the people who make this work possible — families, staff, volunteers, and supporters — for one unforgettable night.
This year's gala will take place in March. Building on the incredible success of our 2025 event, we're excited to create another memorable evening of recognition, connection, and inspiration. Your presence and support directly strengthen our vital programs and help build a brighter future for those we serve.

Goose Island Fundraiser
Each summer, Erie House takes over the Goose Island Barrelhouse for an evening of local brews, good food, and even better company
Pints with Purpose returns in June with engaging interactive activities, raffles, and the taproom's best on tap. Built with young professionals in mind and open to everyone, it's a relaxed way to meet the staff, volunteers, and neighbors behind our work — casual, easy, and a lot of fun. Every ticket and every pour supports the education, legal, and wellness programs Chicago's immigrant and working families count on year-round

Holidays with Heart
Each December, Erie House collects gifts for the children and families in our programs — and then we gather to wrap every one of them.
Holidays with Heart begins with our gift drive, running October through early December. Donate a toy, sponsor a family, or rally your office to fill a wish list.
Then join us Saturday, December 12th, when volunteers, staff, and neighbors come together to wrap it all — with Santa, snacks, and activities for kids of every age.
Every gift goes directly to a family in an Erie House program.
Fall Event
Erie House runs on words — reading them, writing them, learning them in a new language. So our Associate Board decided to make a competition of it.
The Adult Spelling Bee is a night of friendly competition benefiting the literacy work at the heart of Erie House: READS tutoring, early childhood and school-age education, and ESL classes for adults. Gather your friends, pick a team name you'll have to say out loud, and go head-to-head with Chicago's most confident spellers. No studying required — though it wouldn't hurt.
How do you spell "undefeated"?
