Summer Camp 2025: A Summer of Growth, Joy, and Community

As the summer sun sets on another incredible season at Erie Neighborhood House, we’re reflecting on the laughter, learning, and connections that filled our 2025 summer camp program.
Our students spent the summer exploring Chicago through weekly field trips. These excursions brought learning to life. From museums to parks, each trip opened new worlds and possibilities. Meanwhile, back at Erie House, creativity flourished through arts and crafts projects. Young artists discovered their talents and expressed themselves in new ways.
Beyond the activities, this summer was about building community. Students formed new friendships and strengthened teamwork skills. As a result, they grew more confident in themselves. Furthermore, our camp provided a safe, supportive space. Every child could simply be a kid—playing, creating, and enjoying summer fun.
As students head back to school, they carry more than just summer memories. Additionally, they’ve gained experiences that broaden their horizons. They’ve built friendships that support them. Moreover, they’ve developed confidence that will serve them throughout the school year.
Thank you to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and families who made this 2025 summer camp possible. Together, your commitment ensures that every child in our community has access to enriching summer experiences.
Here’s to the memories made and the bright futures ahead for all our Erie House students!
